- Can individual users be identified within Unifi Network
- The Unifi Network platform has the capability to identify specific devices, retention of data is up to 365 days, this retention length may be limited due to number of devices on the network, and other enabled tracking/logging settings.
- Can a selection of sites / category of sites need to be black-listed or restricted
- Unifi has the capability to automatically manage blocklists based on "Work", or "Home" profiles.
- The Work profile automatically blocks the majority of Pornographic and malicious content, sets search engines to safe mode and sets YouTube to safe mode.
- The Family profile blocks VPN traffic, Pornographic and malicious content, and sets Search Engines and YouTube to safe mode.
- How is the initial restricted list determined, (what is it) and how do WE control such black-listing if we find we have additional requirements.
- The initial list is defined by Ubiquiti based off of user statistics (We disable the ability for Ubiquiti to collect this information for our customers), and domains, apps or IP addresses can be added or removed manually at any time. Ubiquiti also allows the ability to block Apps, App Groups such as "Social Media" or "p2p networks", IP Addresses or Regions.
