WAN Status Definitions
Red "No Cable Connected"
WAN cable is not connected
Status: Connecting
Cable is detected, negotiating port speed
Obtaining IP Address
Obtaining an IP from the provider
WAN Ping Test Failed
Health check failed, Ping, DNS or HTTP Target is not available
No SIM Card Detected
SIM is not inserted, or SIM needs cleaning or replacing
No Device Detected
Cellular Module Reset, Waiting for it to respond, Part of SIM detection
Connected
Connection is working and healthy
Connected to .. on .. Connection
WIFI as WAN is connected, Signal Strength of AP is shown.
SpeedFusion Status Definitions
Authenticating
The devices can see each other and begin authentication. if stuck here then check encryption setting and Peer ID settings.
Creating tunnel
Authentication is successful and the tunnel is now being configured. If stuck on this state that means no tunnel can be established.
Updating routes
The tunnel is now created and the devices exchange routes. if stuck here then it is likely there is a route conflict.
Established
The tunnel is authenticated and established.
accessing support mode
When remoting into a Peplink, change index.cgi
to support.cgi
to enter a hidden mode for troubleshooting or advanced testing. These tools are experimental and not recommended for production devices.

- Network captures use system resources (RAM and Flash Storage)
- Keep Captures Small - (Start, test, Stop)
